I am an avid reader of the posts , content and pictures here but must admit I have not been much of a contributor until now….so forgive me if I am repeating anything.
You post below referring to The Man With The Golden Gun reminded me of the opening scenes of You Only Live Twice.
In the scene there is a chap reading the SCMP whilst drinking on a patio and watching the funeral of James Bond (from the warship….which was actually filmed off Gibraltar). The chap watching (in the wrong direction I might add) however is indeed in Hong Kong and sitting on the outdoor (rounded) section outside the main bar at the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club. The light fittings on the wall are still there and one can place oneself right on the spot where this was filmed.
The great part for me is if you freeze the frame you can see a RHKYC logo on his glass.!!
Not a lot of people know that!
