Hi there,
After seeing the then & now photo I guess the location fits my previous mention of the Hap Yap Church on Caine & Seymour. The location is right, but that did not fit the other roof scene with Kowloon in the background.

Nam Kok is fictional which
Nam Kok is fictional which appeared in a fiction with the same name as the movie. Some says Luk Kok hotel inspired this fictional hotel. The "hotel" in the movie was just an ordinary residential building.
