This is copied from document WO 106/5359 at Kew. It is a sketch of, as it says, the Rearguard Operations on Devils Peak in Dec 1941. Signed by Lt Col. Cadogan-Rawlinson in Sept 1942.
The Black Hill AOP would be roughly above the C in Black.

Hi Rob,
With this sketch, looks like it may be quite a task to overlay it onto a modern day map. That also means all our previous guesses may be off as the marker C in this sketh is betwen Black Hill\ridge and Devil's Peak.
May I assume the sketch map is in Imperial Scale?
