Hong Kong Club Building still
Hong Kong Club Building still under construction (see scaffolding). Behind the statue, a quite large temporary building (shed) has been erected, possibly for the celebration only.
The celebration is likely for "commemoration of the completion of the 60th year of the Reign of Her Most Gracious Majesty Queen Victoria" on June 23, 1897.
