Mongkok/Ho Man Tin
the houses are reminiscent of the style that was built around Argyle Street/Prince Edward Road at the time (there are still some similar ones around today). but the location is difficult to pinpoint. It could be Argyle Street viewed from Perth Street area (with possible Kowloon Hospital building in the background). It's just a guess though and I am forming the opinion based on the fact that the building at the back (with the verandah) appears to be on a small hill.

The view from Argyle Street towards Kowloon Hospital can be seen here The buildings shown in the original photo may be those at the corner of Argyle Street.
