Here is a photo you don't often see.
"The ornate fountain, which graces the front of the Hall (seen in the centre), was donated by the merchant house of Dent & Co. in 1864 but was not installed until the City Hall was completed, in 1869, by which time Dent & Co., sadly, no longer existed having failed in the commercial depression of 1867."
