Rosaleen and I worked in the same Govt. department together until she married Capt. Millar before the Jap attack. She was a VAD at Bowen Road Hosp, came into camp Aug. 1942 - was then diagnosed with TB and spent all her time in camp being cared for by her family in their room in Married Q. Dr Yaroogsky-Erooga looked after her and probably saved her life. She lived well into her eighties. <Read more ...>
