This is the only photo (Framed) Garry Cully has relating to his fathers military service in Hong Kong.

       Trooper  Robert Cully, C. Squadron . 7th Queens Own Hussars.  Sek Kong. 1954-1957. From his certificate of service book we know he left England via Troopship (unknown) on 6th Aug. 1954, and arrived back in England on 16 March 1957 via Troopship (unknown) at the end of 3 yrs military service.

I originally thought this image was taken in Hong Kong but in the background can be seen part of the former 'China Tonmenghui Macau Local Association' situated in Largo do Senado, Macau. The building has since been demolished and developed into the shopping mall Ginza Plaza. My thanks to Patrick Yip for this information.

Nathan Road near Whitfield Barracks

Think this photo was taken from the Miramar Hotel, probably 1951.

In the foreground are Gilman Motors, then the construction site of the Princess Theatre, then the Terraced building on Nathan Road, south of Granville Road junction, and finally Telephone House.
