Bungalow 5 / Bungalow C, St. Stephen's College, Stanley [????- ]

Currently known as "Bungalow No. 5", but when it was part of Stanley Internment Camp it was known as "Bungalow C".

Bungalow 4 / Bungalow B, St. Stephen's College, Stanley [????- ]

Currently known as "Bungalow No.4", but when it was part of Stanley Internment Camp it was known as "Bungalow B".

Bungalow 3 / Heritage Centre / Bungalow A, St. Stephen's College, Stanley [1931- ]

Currently known as "Bungalow No.3", but when it was part of Stanley Internment Camp it was known as "Bungalow A".

Today the builiding houses the school's Heritage Centre, which contains many interesting items donated by internees and their families. You can visit the Heritage Centre as part of the guided tour of the school's heritage trail, see: http://www.ssc.edu.hk/ssctrail/eng/docent.html

This is a sketch done by Christine Corra in 1942 in Stanley Internment Camp. Size was 10" x 14", and on the back was written "To Robert with all my love, Christine".

I would love to make contact with her, if possible. I believe Christine is lliving in England somewhere, and  if anybody has any information, please send this to me. Thanks.

This is a portrait of Ron Brooks, in civilian clothes, done on 27 April 1942 by AJ Savitsky in the Stanley Internment Camp during the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong.  AJ Savitsky did some 200 portraits of the internees.

This Portrait of Ron Brooks in Fire Brigade uniform was done in Stanley Internment Camp by Arseny Joseph SAVITSKY, 30 March 1942.  AJ Savitsky did some 200 portraits of internees in the camp during the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong.
