The tram to the Race Course is passing the On Lok Yuen Building on DVRC. Interesting to see the tram's concertina doors and the long wooden pole (just above wheel level) used for manually moving the tram's electrical tram pole to a different wire when changing directions at crossover sections. Tram 139 covered centenary livery of the Wharf (former operator of HK Tramways), was one of the 15 trams rebuilt using original underframes and first appeared with roof resistor boxes in 1986, and they were eventually replaced by new bodies by end-1991, i.e. 1987 series. <Read more ...>
