Preserved granite gatepost seen at Heritage 1881. The gatepost is similar to the granite pillar seen at the bottom of the slope here on Canton Road.

Built in 1954, only Block 41 (Mei Ho House) has been preserved. Since 2013, Mei Ho House has been run by the Hong Kong Youth Hostel Association as a 'city hostel' with a heritage museum showing the living environment of the past. See here

Only the northern facade of the old building has been retained. Since 2001, the building has been used by the Sai Ying Pun Community Centre.
