Street named after the cotton mills of the Hong Kong Cotton Spinning, Weaving & Dyeing Co. Read recently the cast iron street sign had been removed by persons unknown.

Sticking out from the foliage below the Bowen Road Walk is the octagonal domed-tower of No. 64 Kennedy Road. Not sure if the old building has been demolished.

The beige coloured building two-storey building on the right is the Gutzlaff Street Public Toilet and Bathhouse.

Behind the bathhouse, the demolition of houses along Gutzlaff Street has already begun.

Gutzlaff Street photo uphill, shows the Gutzlaff Street Public Toilet and Bathhouse (the beige cloured building with the grey waste box). At the end of the Gutzlaff Street is Gage Street.

One of the very popular photos from the mid-level escalator down on Gage Street. It shows two interesting items:

The construction site in the back has meanwhile turned into a new high-rise building.

The houses behind the one with the 7-eleven store (at the junction of Cochrane and Gage Streets, still there today) are houses which belong to Gutzlaff Street (only the ones visible at Gage Street). Gutzlaff Street crosses Gage Street just in front of the building "Gage Street Market Lofts". All the houses mentioned have been demolished later for a new building.
