This picture was taken in the Johnston Road of Wanchai.The famous 龍門大茶樓 and 雙喜樓 [the two famous restaurants in Wanchai]can be seen in the background. As the 龍門大茶樓 opened to business on 4th December,1958,this picture was probably taken in the autumn of 1959 or the spring of 1960.

As Mr.Fred Evan stayed in Hong Kong between June 1957 and October 1959,this picture was taken in the spring or autumn of 1959.
