The remainder of the site was occupied by the Chung Tin Building and Cecil Hotel .... Chung Tin Building was at one time the King Edward Hotel. .  It was the scene of a big fire involving heavy loss of life in 1929.  The interior was afterwards reconstructed to accommodate offices....
