Re: Postcard
The view is of Spring Garden Lane looking south into Sampan Street at the rear. Have a copy of the same postcard but have dated mine to the 1910s. Could be even earlier as I note the house numbers on the east side of the street on my postcard are numbered 1, 2, 3 and so on. Not sure when the house numbers were replaced with even numbers.
