A giant mosaic measuring 143 feet long and 15 feet wide was put up on the side of the 17 storey Ambassador Hotel facing Nathan Road. The mosaic in Italian tiling depicts Confucius travelling all over the provinces of China. China Mail 17 June 1960 refers.
