Was this photo taken in Sheung Shui?

Another photo of my grandmother in 1974. Since some of the other slides I scanned were taken in Sheung Shui, can I assume this was taken there, too?

Susan - this is Fu Hing St in SHeung Shui and if you take a look at this view in googlemaps, you will find that those buildings look almost exactly the same today.

Thanks so much! It does look almost the same, except for the clusters of high rises. Amazing! I suppose my grandparents went up there to look around and to get close to China, since Americans couldn't go into China legally back in 1974.

OMG, this photo bring back my childhood memories, tear in my eyes, it was just like yesterday. Football ground  on the righthand side, old library should be on the left handside.

Hi. I know it's been a while since the pic was posted but I can recall this road when I was growing up in 74 (left in 75). Be very grateful if thee are more gems like this!

Hi,

I left Sheung Shui since 1974 to Holland.

Were you in Fung Kai primary school?

Cheers
