Thanks to David Wu for sending the attached photo, showing a lovely panorama taken just after sunset:

Attached is a photo of the Hong Kong Harbour by night taken in the 50' by a friend of mine in England when he visited Hong Kong as a navy.

I'll guess it was taken a few years later in the early sixties, as I can see City Hall and Harcourt Road.

Lovely, lovely photo.

This photo shows quite clearly the billowing smoke from Hung Hom, as well as the smoke from the power plant in North Point that T mentioned a few days ago in the commentary to another photo.
