Living in Yau Yat Chuen or Kowloon Tong often entailed having a lighting system on the roof if your house was under the flight path into Kai Tak. Additionally every time a plane landed in darkeness its landing lights flooded the rooms on the higher floors with bright light as they skimmed over the rooftops.

I believe the lights were installed on the roof of the Kowloon Tsai Home Owners Association on Durham Road, Kowloon Tong.
