Seem to recall that when it opened, and for a few years thereafter, The Chinnery was' Men Only'.
Roast beef carvery lunch - he carved until you told him to stop - with all the trimmings and the hottest horseradish ever, all for 30-odd HKdollars.
Expensive in those days .....
