This lamp looks exactly the same as the one I found (and others have seen) at Middle Spur AOP. I did some research after finding a watermark on the glass. It seems they were produced in China during the post war 40s or 50s.
This is a common kerosene lamp, quite popular for use in the wild before Flourescent camping lights become popular. A full tank could last hours. Easier to handle than those pressurized kerosene lamps but ilumination is poor.
