The unidentified man and woman also appear walking on Nathan Road near the Shell service station as seen here: http://collections.lib.uwm.edu/cdm/ref/collection/agsphoto/id/4085 Guess the photo of them was taken in the vicinity. Looks like the Alhambra Theatre on the right as seen here
