Seem to recall it was used for stopovers by BOAC flight crews in the 1960's and 70's.

In the 60s, the hotel was owned by Mr. Yeung Chi-wun of the Keng Fook Jewellery Group.  The Eurasian General Manager was Capt. Rudy Choy, a prominent of the BAAG Security Branch involved in counter-intelligence work in SW Guangdung during the later part of the War.  He was also associated with the Kowloon Dairy.
