I'm having trouble getting my bearings on this one. Any ideas what the diagonal road in the bottom left corner is?

Greetings David, let me guess - the photographer was standing at 28-30 Bonham Road looking to NNE, hence the photo shows Hospital Road as it curves to the left and the former hospital building.  Regards.

You are very welcome, David.  Now living far away, I use Google to compare street views then and now.  The distant Lion Rock reference helps.  For some sites, I cannot be sure due to reduced visibility caused by highrises and tall vegetation, this often the case when looking at Google street views.  Regards, Peter
