While the description says 1930s, judging from the pillbox and pillar remains I'd suggest late 1940s but welcome any suggestions, especially based on the cars

Yes, 1940s sounds right. We can't see any of the big pre-war matsheds that were there in the 1930s.

It is dated 1947, though it's not clear why - maybe the postmark date?
