This photo was taken from the bus between Repluse Bay Road/Island Road intersection on Island Road (I believe so). From the view of Google Maps I think the place where the photo was taken is close to the Hong Kong Country Club on Island Road.
On the left hand side should be Middle Island. The island in the back is Zhi Wan Dao (直灣島) .

The island in the far distance is actually Zhi Wan Dao (直灣島) - one of the Chinese islands to the south of HK.
