If there were no beds available at either the China Fleet Club or the Cheero Club, I sometimes stayed at the Missions to Seamen building, which was next door but one to the China Fleet Club. It was slightly more expensive but you got a 'cabin' to yourself! I believe that the building in between was a police station.
