Stalls on Cheung Chau

Stalls on Cheung Chau
Authors:

This photograph was taken on the shore path at the southern end of the harbour.  In 2015 it is now the Chung Hing Street.  The Tin Hau temple is hidden behind the large rock near the tall tree on the left. The large rock hidden by the central foliage was still there in 2007 and there is a small sitting area where the stalls used to be.

By 1987 the workshops had been cleared away and the rough path had been surfaced and possiby turned into the Chung Hing street. The scaffolding and temporary wall suggests that some work is being done on the Tin Hau temple.
