The photograph in my 1958 folder shows number 54. I think that it must have been scrapped rather than retired to the musem.

Engines number 52 thru to 55 were all sold, moved to Australia and refurbished. Follow the link and you can see a picture of what was #54 in its new livery parked on a siding in Melbourne.
