In 1987, I heard that the old camp was soon to be demolished. I was lucky enough to receive permission to have a last look round during a special trip to Hong Kong in late October and early November 1987. It was a very nostalgic visit. The buildings were just as before and the only real change was that the hillsides were covered in dense vegetation.
