The shop sign on the left is for "Friesland ice Cream & Cold Storage". They were at 101-103 Hennessy Road, opposite Southorn Playground.

In the 1960s, I think the premises of the Friesland Ice Cream & Cold Storage became the location of the Suzie Wong Night Club.
