This Wanchai Salvation Army Food Kitchen was situated on the grounds of today's Lockhart Road Municipal Services Building. Facing north can be seen the Wanchai Police Station (No.2 Police Station, 2nd Generation)  and the Fire Brigade Hose Tower.

The open area between the buildings on Hennessy Road on the right was the location of the Wanchai Salvation Army Food Kitchen.

Besides the food kitchens on Hennessy Road, there were three additional kitchens located at St. Peter's Church, West Point, the old Magistracy in Yau Ma Tei and in Sham Shui Po. HK Telegraph 23 November 1940 refers.
