A tram on Admiralty in 1920s

In Hong Kong Island, the tram is the indispensable vehicle for people’s life.

And I have shared in the bounty of the tram from Central to Causeway Bay during my stay in Hong Kong.

This time, I found an interesting site on the tram in Hong Kong as below, and the above photo is also from this site

The description of “A brief history of Hong Kong trams” by Alan Cheung is excellent, and his fast-feeding video of Virtual Tram Ride in 3:45 ( at the last part of the description ) for 15 km from Shau Kei Wan to Central is very curious.

The photographer is standing on Jackson Road viewing the tram turning left onto Queen's Road. The Hong Kong Cricket Club Pavilion in Central is on the  left.

Moddsey,

Thanks!

I also understood the place was at Jackson Rd by another photo (this photo from the postcard may be original?) as the evidence through the following one.

The photo was taken at Central, not at Admiralty. (smile)
