The view is actually of Caine Road and Caine Lane from Seymour Road. The medical museum building can be seen on the left hand side of the photo

Yes, it does look like the Museum. However in the photo, the Museum appears closer to Caine Lane than from what I recall.

I think is the perspective of the photo making the museum look closer than it actually is. The row of houses, which are the back of the buildings on U Lam terrace, also match up in the aerial photography of 1949
