1962 Laichikok swimming pavilion

Thanks Klaus.  These three shower-storage business operated by the side of the road leading to the beach and amusement park.  They were connected to the road by a gantry-walkway.  I used them a few times in the 1950s.  The beach was to the left so a good swimmer could easily reach this spot.  The showered water fell directly from above but sanitation was never in our mind.   About 2 years prior to this photo, I rowed my boat as far as the boat on the right edge did, so it is great to see this place again.  Regards,  Peter
