The Red Lion Inn
I was fascinated by the photo of the Red Lion Inn in Hankow Rd. as it was the very place my Grandfather David GABRIEL (from Shanghai) opened his small restaurant "David's Cafeteria" in 1930 I believe. My grandmother Hannah did the cooking. ... fast forward to 1969 and it is the very site Kowloon Jimmy's (Jimmy's Kitchen) opened its doors. An amazing co-incidence.
