A little correction: The Peak Tram is a funicular railway rather than a cog railway. Its two cars are at either end of a long cable, and a winding house at the top of the line pulls either one up in turn. You can see the second car at the top of the picture above, and the section of double-tracks where the two cars pass each other.

Yes, you're right. My mistake: I tried to find the English word for 'tandradbaan' (which I believed that it was) in a dictionary ....
