Photo records this is a 28,000 all seated stadium in 1958. Has this stadium been extended, or now demolished,? the first all seater I had visited, all football stadiums in England were mainly standing in 1956-58. Is this a bowling green in foreground?

Hi Bryan, the stadium was completely rebuilt in 1994 and the seating capacity is now 40000. The track was removed though. The old stadium was known as 'Government Stadium' but the new one is called 'Hong Kong Stadium'. The sports field opposite the stadium is the Indian Recreation Club.
