Building boom in TST. Mirador Mansion is brand new. Looks like the construction site of Chungking Mansion is on the right and the tall building under scaffolding in the left background is the President Hotel. The old building standing on the east side of Nathan Road would be demolished not long after this photo was taken. (May need to check the completion date of the President Hotel)

The last photo of Melbourne Hotel at https://gwulo.com/node/6027/photos from 1961 makes it look as though it was a separate building from that old building along the east side of Nathan Road. Any idea if they were considered part of the same property, or treated differently?
Deleted the Melbourne Hotel
Yes. The Melbourne was on 2-12 Mody Road. Don't have a name for the terraced building though.
