My mother, Johanna ("Ank") Elisabeth Marks (1926-2003) with het mother M.G. Marks-Groot (1892-1979) on September 5th 1926 in the house where they lived at that time, probably at Lugard Road before they moved to 2 Trugunter Mansions. House visible through the window seems (!!) to have some half-timbering, but regretfully the photo isn't very sharp and detailed. If so, then the picture was probably taken from Tregunter mansions with Friston Cottage in the background?
