This photograph was probably taken at the same time as the previous one. The bottom end of Garden Road is visible on the left and on its far side the end building of the Cheero Club, with its partly discernible sign, is just visible. The cricket ground, now Chater Garden, is on the right. The steelwork for the new Hong Kong and Shanghai bank can be seen behind the China Bank.
