Looking East. The police flats are on the left, with Arsenal Street immediately beyond them. The site of the pill box is just off to the right. There is a similar colour photograph in my (Andrew Suddaby) gallery, but unfortunately none of the photographs that I have show whether the pill box was still extant in 1957/8 - but I doubt it.
