This was probably in Shaukiwan, maybe taken on Wang Wa street?  It looks like Devil's Peak on the right. (Andrew S).  No.  Thanks to Moddsey for correctly identifying this building at Sai Wan Ho.  Andrew

Interesting photo to pinpoint. This may be in Sai Wan Ho. In the original photo, the building on the left with the arched openings looks very similar to the one below,that is on the extreme right.

Hi Moddsey.  Yes, I think that the tall, arched windows match those on Ewart's photograph exactly.  I'll change the title and add the appropriate link to the pin, and the pin if necessary.  Well spotted.  Andrew
