Cross Harbour tunnel barge
Top left in the water is the Cross Harbour Tunnel tube postioning barge,
Unlike other tunnels the first cross harbor tunnel was constructed using a series of steel tubes laid in a dredged trench on the seabed.
The tubes assembled on land at Kowloon were suspended under the barge to be precisely positioned under water.
