An unidentified building found  on an old cine film on Hong Kong. Can anyone suggest what the building is/used for.

Cine film is thought to be late 1940s early 1950s.

I hope to put a few more photographs from the film on Gwulo in the next few days.

Hi There,

There are many photo of this building even in this site.  That's the tower of the Government House, which was added by the Japanese during the occupation.

Many thanks for your helpful reply. Atlest that means the cinefilm is after that date. Therefore there is a possibility of the dates suggested.

I guess we could only confirm the file was post-war.  Cannot guess the year with this frame.
