Is the street crossing Des Voeux Road just in front of the tram Hillier Street?

The book "Early Hong Kong Eateries" indicates that the Tai Tung Restaurant was at 234 Des Voeux Road Central at the intersection with Man Wa Lane. Hillier Street would be in front of the tram.
