A screen grab from the movie Sayonara (1957) one of my favourite movies (watched it twice) while living in Hong Kong. A huge painting very similar to this adorned the facade of Astor Theatre facing the park. Well, I think the painting shows her left hand finger pointing, while her right hand was holding an (more visible) open bamboo hand fan.

The film was screened at the Astor from 3 April 1958. The movie poster shown here may have been similar to the film hoarding.
