 Plimsoll Line markings are visible in the background so it is a ship, not a coal bin wall, light Buff coloured hull, ground surfaces similar.

Location Mackie’s Wharf, North Point Power Station, hence the coal bins reference.

Brief separate text separate from the image infers the time was remembered as being as 'just after the war,’ presumably WW11.
