wanchai and causeway bay
Causeway bay usually means east of Canal road. The photo looks east from 45 Bowen road across Wanchai with Causeway way in the distance. The barren hill is of course the Morrison hill before it was demolished completely in the 60s after successive reclamations of Wanchai.
