The original photo mentioned 1950. Circa 1949/50 according to the "golden deer" logo of the Lee Kung Man Knitting Factory as seen on the Hong Kong Memory website. I think the newspapers of the day should be able to confirm the dates/year of the Exhibition of Chinese Products.

It gives the following dates: 7th exhibition  15 december 1949 to 2 january 1950
